The AR1 vs SR1

We offer two distinct hub options, the AR1 and the SR1. Both hubs feature nearly identical freehub mechanisms and are machined to the same high standards.

For most riders, the AR1 is more than enough. It has been ridden in six UCI WorldTour races and has been ridden to victory in several others. We recommend the AR1 for most riders, as they are more versatile and cost effective. AR1 hubs can be used for both road and gravel riding.

For those who want the lightest wheelset possible, the SR1 hub can reduce weight by an additional 45 grams. It is for road cycling only.

3rd vs 4th Generation

All of our road and gravel wheels come with carbon spokes, which we feel is the future. Our 3rd and 4th generation carbon spokes.

3rd generation spokes are signifantly stiffer, providing the best power transfer. We recommend them for strong competitive cyclists and sprinters.

4th generation carbon spokes offer better compliance and are significantly lighter. We recommend them for most riders, as they offer a more comfortable ride feel and help with vibration dampening.
