Which wheels are under warranty?

Our warranty policy covers all wheels ordered through our official website and via our dealers.

What does the warranty cover?

The 3-year warranty covers the following : rims, wheels, hubs, spokes, and nipples. It only covers issues caused by non-external factors, meaning inherent defects or errors related to the production of the specific wheelset.

*5-year and lifetime warranty options only cover rims after the 3-year standard warranty ends.

What doesn’t the warranty cover?

  • Vulnerable parts such as bearings, ratchets, valves, and thru axles.
  • Improper assembly or maintenance.
  • Installation of parts or tires that are not intended for or compatible with the wheelset
  • Damage caused by a crashes and accidental damage (see Crash Replacement Policy), misuse of the product, heat damage, inappropriate use, or any other external factors.
  • Exceeding the wheelset’s maximum weight limit
  • Use of tires that are not compatible with your rims
  • Exceeding the appropriate tire pressure based on your tire and rim models
  • Riding outside of the scope of what the wheelset is designed for (ie. Using road wheels for gravel riding or XC MTB wheels for Enduro riding)
  • Using wheels on E-MTBs

How long is the standard warranty period? When does it begin?

For wheels ordered via our official website, he standard warranty lasts for three years starting from the delivery date. For wheels purchased through our dealers, the warranty begins on the purchase date.

Are there extended warranty options?

Yes. We offer two extended warranty options on all wheelsets for an additional fee. There are both 5-year and lifetime warranties.

*5-year and lifetime warranty options only cover rims after the 3-year standard warranty ends.

Are shipping and taxes included?

If a specific issue is covered under warranty, Particle will be responsible for any shipping fees. If the issue was caused by external factors not covered under warranty, the customer will be responsible for fees related to shipping.

What if my wheel model is no longer for sale?

If Particle no longer offers the wheelset, rim, hub, and/or spokes on your wheelset, we will upgrade you to the newest equivalent model at no extra cost.

How to file a warranty claim?

To file a warranty claim, please fill out our After-Sales Service Form and submit it. Photographic evidence of the issue must also be provided. After receiving the warranty claim, we will contact you with further information.

What about crash replacement?

We offer lifetime crash replacement on all of our wheelsets regardless of the warranty you choose.

What about servicing?

During the warranty period, your wheels can be serviced at one of our service centers or at our headquarters in Xiamen. Once your warranty claim has been approved, we will find the right solution.
